Project Details: 3F Living, an architecture and design firm, took on the challenge of merging three separate apartments into one luxurious 3-bedroom, 3-bath unit within a concrete building. Their solution involved creating an internal staircase framed with new steel beams, resulting in an airy and bright home with potential for future expansion.

The client’s main goal was to have one cohesive living space with distinct family activity areas. To achieve this, 3F Living strategically placed a HearthCabinet in the living room to anchor the space and guide attention to the heart of the home. Additionally, the firm chose high-end, high-contrast design details, incorporating bold black accents throughout the apartment. The custom-designed HearthCabinet Ventless Fireplace was selected in black powder-coated steel with satin black 2” x 8” herringbone tile, which complemented the design beautifully. The clients praised the fireplace’s look and ease of use, they especially value the safety features given their young children. Overall, the project showcased the 3F Living talent for blending form, fit and function into every project.
