Housing Works’ Design on a Dime – Interior Design Benefit

With a mission to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS, Housing Works‘ annual interior design fundraising event Design on a Dime was something HearthCabinet™ Ventless Fireplaces was honored to be part of.

Design on a Dime is a premiere design benefit challenging top interior designers to create unique room vignettes with donated merchandise. Bringing together an estimated 100 interior designers, over 500 top home décor brands and roughly 6,000 guests, the event has raised over $12 million since it was founded in 2004.

HearthCabinet™ had the opportunity to donate one of our ventless fireplaces to help complete Interior Designer and Project Coordinator Claudia Giselle’s amazing vignette.  Developing a concept about the nature of existence explored by many cultures throughout history, Claudia’s “The Harmony of Opposites” contributed to this year’s event raising over $1.2 million!

Claudia Giselle Design LLC’s “The Harmony of Opposites”

The importance of giving back is something we at HearthCabinet™ value immensely and feel is significant for community growth. This is why a portion of every HearthCabinet™ fireplace sale is donated to The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves. Increasing access to clean cookstoves and fuels improves health and the environment.

We were proud to be part of Housing Works’ premier event and hope to continue to participate in the future. A special thanks to not only Claudia Giselle Design LLC, but also the other companies who made Claudia’s vignette possible!
