As someone who loves a good wood burning fireplace–I have two in my home plus a third that we converted to gas–I find the HearthCabinet an incredible option for a good looking, ventless fireplace option.

Their showroom is well thought out, their sales staff terrific and that’s why my partner and I installed the HC in the lounge of an apartment project we’re about to complete.

Upon lighting it for the first time, I found it even better than I recalled from my three visits to the showroom (first with my wife, second with my partner and third with our merchandising/marketing advisor).

We expect that a number of our residents will like it enough to install HC units in their own apartments.

We needed a ventless fireplace for a restaurant in NYC. We worked with Sara and she was great! Very knowledgeable about the product/options. She even came on the installation day to help place the logs and show us how to light it! The end result was beautiful and added warmth and atmosphere to the restaurant.

I have worked on several (all custom and new construction) projects with the terrific team at HearthCabinet helmed by Arthur and navigated by Sara. They’re the only NYC Fire Dept. approved ventless firebox and they actually give warmth. Anecdotally, NYC recently enacted a law banning wood burning fireplaces as they give off air borne toxins (fossil fuels). Their product does not. Their designs and subsequent fabrications have added much drama to the overall space. I recommend them without reservation. The photo below is from a job completed 2 1/2 years ago.
