Patented Features

The Hearth Cabinet's safety features, required for ventless fireplaces installed in New York City, are patented. 

The patents cover: 

(1) The top hinged and locked safety door, which prevents accidental access to the fire, or access by children; 

(2) The pre-measured fuel cartridge, which eliminates the need to manually pour fuel in your living room, which is very dangerous, and 

(3) The safety cartridge holder, which securely and safely holds the fuel cartridge behind the safety screen while the fire is burning.*

*Not only is it ethically correct but it is also easier and more economical to respect proprietary designs rather than attempt to copy them and risk litigation. Please respect our designs and our exclusive contractual right to use these proprietary designs. In the past, when it appeared that another company was about to copy a design feature we have an exclusive on, a lawsuit was brought which resulted in a Court Order directing the company not to copy the designs.
